New Mexico
Summer Enrichment Internship Program
2022

STORIES  //  PHOTOS  //  VIDEO

We are pleased to announce the Summer Enrichment Internship Program will return in 2022!
The College and Career Readiness Bureau (CCRB) of the New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) launched the Summer Enrichment Internship Program in the summer of 2021. The federal government initially committed more than $9.89 million for the program as part of pandemic relief efforts with funding to cover the cost of summer internships for New Mexico high school students in 2021 and 2022.

The Goal:
to provide high school students and at-risk youth with the opportunity to participate in
high-quality internships (20 hours per week for 6 weeks) with government agencies and
community organizations, including county, tribal, and/or municipal placements.
